PRODUCTION OF CANDY INCLUDING FRUIT BODY OF GANODERMA LUCIDUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain candies including fruit bodies of Ganoderma lucidum that can be taken in simply at any place, is made storable for a long period of time and is improved in its taste for smooth intake. ;SOLUTION: A kind of mushroom, Ganoderma lucidum, is decocted and the extract is concentrated, and the concentrate is spray-dried or freeze-dried to prepare the powder of the mushroom in the concentrated mushroom powder production step. This powder is admixed to a mixture of sugar and starch syrup and they are mixed under stirring with heat in the mixing step. Then, the mixture is cooled down and is simultaneously formed in a prescribed shape thereby producing the objective candies.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
