PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a catalyst for alkoxylation capable of preparing an alkoxylate that ensures a narrow distribution of polymn. degree with little unreacted starting material and little byproduct, capable of reducing the amt. of the catalyst to be used because of high catalytic activity and therefore enhancing the efficiency of a filtration process. ;SOLUTION: One or more elements selected from among the groups 2B, 3A, 3B, 4A, 4B, 5A, 5B, 6A, 7A and 8 elements of the subgroup system periodic table and the Lanthanoids are incorporated into a multiple oxide having a perovskite structure represented by ABO3 to obtain the objective multiple oxide catalyst for alkoxylation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
