PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the problem that relatively delicate grooving of an agitating shaft and a corresponding washer installion are needed and also the washer is hard to be detached with respect to a washer for adjusting the height of an agitating shaft in an agitation cover of a paint agitator. ;SOLUTION: A washer 1 for adjusting the height of an agitating shaft 3 includes a cut annular body 11 and is provided with an opening 13 of which a little smaller than the diameter of the agitating shaft 3. And the washer 1 is also provided with a central projection 15 to be inserted into at least one diametrical direction hole 17 of the agitating shaft 3 on the annular inner surface thereof. The washer 1 has elastic deformation characteristics, and since it is radially fitted on the agitating shaft 3 by the central projection 15, the opening 13 can be expanded up to the diameter of the agitating shaft 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
