PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft and bulky polyester woven or knitted fabric having an excellent strength and having both good color developability and deep colorability at a low cost. ;SOLUTION: This bulky polyester-based blended yarn comprises at least two kinds of multi-filament groups having a yarn leg difference therebetween. Therein, one kind of the multi-filament group comprises a main acid component comprising ≥80 mol.% of terephthalic acid or its ester-forming derivative, 0.75-1.2 mol.% of an alkali metal sulfoisophthalic acid and/or sulfoterephthalic acid (X) and 0-5.0 mol.% of a saturated aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having four to eight methylene groups, a main glycol component comprising ≥80 mol.% of a glycol selected from ethylene glycol and tetramethylene glycol, and a polyalkylene glycol component (PAG) having a mol.wt. of 500-2,000 in an amount of 0.5-2.0 wt.% based on the produced polyester, wherein the compound X and the compound PAG satisfy the following inequality: 0.4≤X/PAG≤1.2 (X is expressed by mol.%, and PAG is expressed by wt.%).;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
