METHOD FOR GROWING LAWN GRASS USING PLANT RAISING MAT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily grow lawn grass uniformly on the ground surface so as to be sufficiently protected even if subjected to impact by e.g. golf clubs. SOLUTION: This method for growing lawn grass using a plant raising mat comprises as follows: under a plant penetrative three-dimensionally growing bed 6 of specified thickness having voids through which turf is to be penetrated and grown and enough mechanical strength to protect turf being in growth from external impact, a raising bed 5 having water holding ability higher than that of the bed 6 is laminated, and turf being in growth is raised under its penetration through the bed 6 and protected at a specified height; the bed 6 is laminated with a lawn grass seedling 9 being in the form of a mat of a specified size with the underground stems entangled with themselves, and these underground stems are allowed to penetrate through the bed 6 and grown toward the raising bed 5 lying below.
