PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both a vessel for dipping capable of surely and safely carrying out operations to dip a fruit or the like in an agent or the like without relying on a hormonal agent, an agrochemical or the like and a method for dipping by which the sterilization of the fruit can be performed without relying on the agrochemical. ;SOLUTION: This vessel 2 for ultrasonic type excitation dipping of this invention is equipped with an ultrasonic vibrator 3 in the bottom of a cuplike vessel for dipping having an opening 6 in the upper part thereof.
