PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently prevent a puncture by means of nail or the like without raising a cost, to permit shoes to be light and excellent in bending property and easy to walk comfortably by providing a titanium or titanium alloy sheet in a puncture preventing insole for the shoes. ;SOLUTION: The puncture preventing insole for the shoes is formed by interposing a β-type titanium alloy sheet 12 between two leather sole sheets 10 and 11. In this case, the leather sole sheets 10 and 11 are sewed in edge parts 13 and the titanium alloy sheet 12 is disposed and enclosed by the leather sole sheets 10 and 11. The titanium or titanium alloy sheet is light and easy to be bent and shows light and excellent bending property in comparison with a stainless steel sheet, a copper sheet and a nickel sheet or the like of a same thickness so that easiness to walk comfortably is improved. Besides, the titanium or titanium alloy sheet is hard so that puncture resistance is improved as compared with the stainless steel sheet, the copper sheet, the nickel sheet and an aluminum sheet or the like of the same thickness.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
