PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a chip projected from the surface of a lamp tube so that the chip is not broken by collision with the insertion port of a protector tube when a UV lamp is inserted into the protector tube in a UV sterilizer of running water utilizing the cold-cathode type UV lamp. ;SOLUTION: An anchor wire 15 in which the one end is connected to the lead wire of a lower side electrode 10 of a UV lamp 26 and is wired facing from a lower lamp base 28 fitted to the lower end of a lamp tube 12 to an upper side lamp base 27 fitted to the upper end is passed above a chip 13 projected from the surface of the lamp tube 12 so that the chip 13 is not collided directly with the insertion port of a protector tube and protected by the anchor wire 15.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
