PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain new speech path monitoring even when no idle trunk is in existence corresponding to a speech line monitor request. ;SOLUTION: In the case that no idle trunk is available although a monitoring processor 5 receives a monitor request of a channel L1 from a call processing processor, the monitoring processors 5 makes a monitor request to a monitoring processor 7 via buses L3, L21, L6. The monitoring processor 7 monitors the channel L1 via a communication line L5, a time division switch 6, a time division interconnection switch 3 and a time division switch 4 when any idle trunk is available.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
