SOLUTION: This manufacture method manufactures a drive component unit where a 1st board 3A and a 2nd board 3B are placed and the respective front sides are in crossing with each other, a light source 5 for lighting an original is mounted on the front side of the 1st board 3A, and an image reading light-receiving element 40 is mounted on the front side of the 2nd board 3B is provided with a process where the light-receiving element 40 and the light source 5 are mounted on a printed circuit board 3 with conductor wires 31A, 31B mounted thereon at least part of which are folded to be conductive to the light-receiving element 40 and the light source 5 respectively and a process where the printed circuit board 3 is separated into a 1st board 3A and the 2nd board 3B, without breaking the conductor wires 31A, 31B at a foldable position of the conductor wires 31A, 31B.
