PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a hanging bell resonance, to prevent a generation of bending oscillation and to attain increase of an output sound pressure level by making a bobbin an elliptic cylinder. ;SOLUTION: A speaker unit 1 consists of a cone shaped oscillation plate 2, a voice coil, an edge 4, a damper 5, a center cap 6, a frame 7, a magnetic circuit, a terminal installed in the frame 7 and a brocade wire for leading the terminal and the voice coil. Then, the cone shaped oscillation plate 2 has its outer peripheral shape and the inner peripheral shape both of which are elliptic. Since a bobbin of the voice coil and the cone shaped oscillation plate 2 are engaged with and adhered to each other, an outer peripheral of the bobbin is also elliptic. Moreover, a shape of the bobbin of the voice coil is made to be a cylindrical body or an elliptic cylinder of a track shape; then, the voice coil is wound around this bobbin, the inner peripheral shape of the cone shaped oscillation plate 2 contacting the bobbin is made to be a track shape or an elliptic shape so that the plate 2 is engaged with the bobbin of the voice coil and adhered to it.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
