ACRYLIC FIBER TOW GOOD IN TOW SPINNING PROPERTY AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the production of flies at the time of breaking at a high temperature in a tow spinning process, stabilize the operation and obtain a tow spun yarn good in yarn quality by applying a specific spinning oil agent to a towlike acrylic fiber. ;SOLUTION: About 0.1-1.0 wt.% mixture containing (A) sorbitan stearate, (B) a 10-50C polyoxyethylene cetyl phosphate salt and (C) stearamide [in 2/(3-6)/(1-4) weight ratio of the components A/B/C] as a spinning oil agent is applied to a towlike acrylic fiber to regulate the value of running frictional resistance between the fiber and the metal at 140°C to 40-75 g.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
