ORGANIC SUBSTANCE DETECTION DEVICE FOR ENABLING INDEX CALIBRATION AND ORGANIC SUBSTANCE MONITORING SYSTEM USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic substance detection device that is configured so that it can adjust the zero point of a measuring instrument and calibrate indication at a monitoring center. ;SOLUTION: The device is provided with a detection element 30 for causing an attribute change when it touches an organic substance, first means 38, 48, and 56 for allowing a medium to touch the detection element 30, a second means for causing at least one medium out of a medium that does not contain an organic matter and a medium that contains an organic substance with a known concentration to touch the detection element 30, and an optical means 26 for outputting light to be applied to the detection element 30 and at the same time receiving light being reflected by the detection element. The device is connected to a monitoring center with a supply part for supplying either medium out of the medium that does not contain the organic substance and the medium that contains an organic substance with a known concentration for a specific period.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
