PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress lowering of durability in a part where the stress of a connecting rod is increased. ;SOLUTION: A screw hole 29 extended coaxially with a passing hole 27 formed in a cap 23 is formed in the rod main body 21 of a connecting rod. A bolt 28 is screwed in the screw hole 29 under a condition that it is passed through the passing hole 27 and a nut 33 screwed around a part projected from the passing hole 27 of the bolt 28 is fastened, thereby the rod main body 21 and the cap 23 are fixed. A male screw 36 formed on the screw part 37 of the bolt 28 has the larger pitch in the axial center part of the bolt 28 in the screw part 37 than the other position. Therefore, when the rod main body 21 and the cap 23 are fixed, a part on a bolt end side where thickness (t) is thickened in the rod main body 21 is stressed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
