PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct combustion high efficiency thermal decomposition processing apparatus for waste gas containing organic substances such as a low concentration organic solvent. ;SOLUTION: Waste containing organic substances produced from a manufacturing plant and processing processes is taken into a surface combustion burner 12 of a body 11, while part of the organic substances containing waste is introduced into the body 11 as fuel exhaust premixture gas introduction inlet 13 of an outer circumference side surface of the body 11 as the fuel exhaust premixture gas together with a fuel and air. The part of the organic substances containing waste uniformly spreads over the entire surface of the outer periphery of a surface combustion burner 12 to uniformly heat a passage space inside the surface combustion burner 12. In such a situation, the organic substance containing waste spreads and is combusted from a one opening side of the surface combustion burner 12 to the other opening side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
