PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the precision of a processing and to input a document wherein the intention of a writing person is better reflected by holding language information which a document generator inputs and recognizes, newly retrieving associated document information through the use of information and adjusting a conversion processing based on information contained therein. SOLUTION: At least a part of reading information inputted through an input part 101 is converted into language notation by referring to a dictionary 105 where at least a part of the reading of a word is made to correspond to word information containing the notation and a part of speech. Language notation information recognized by permitting a user to recognize the notation is held in a determined character string holding processing part 106. A document retrieval part 108 retrieves a document based on information contained in the language notation information which is recognized and a conversion processing is adjusted based on information contained in the document obtained by retrieval.
