PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil array, which is provided with high sensitivity and resolution, separately discriminates between a spatter and a crack, and is provided with a flaw detection coil adhering to the tube inside wall, in a flaw detection coil array for an eddy current flaw detector. ;SOLUTION: A flaw detection coil array 100 used in an eddy current flaw detector is provided with an insulated flexible printed circuit board 10, a plurality of scanning lines 20, 30 which are parallelly arranged on the front and back surfaces of the circuit board 10 respectively and mutually cross orthogonally on the front and back surface sides of the circuit board 10, a plurality of flaw detection coils 40, 50 which are connected to respective scanning lines 20, 30 through their one ends and arranged in a matrix form, and a continuity means penetrating through the circuit board 10. The other ends of the flaw detection coils arranged on the front surface of the circuit board 10 are connected to the other ends of the flaw detection coils arranged on the back surface via the continuity means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
