PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to be able to experuence characteristics or a spectacle lens such as the blur and the distortion of the lens in a more understandable state by simultaneously outputting the prescribed shape of a spectacle frame together with a visual image. ;SOLUTION: The kind of a lens with which a visual image is wanted to be displayed is selected and next the shape of a spectacle frame is selected. Then, a visual image is produced by image data and programs prepared in a storage part 14 of a hard disk or a CD-ROM or the like and outputted data are displayed on a CRT 21 or the like. On the display screen of this CRT 21, an image equivalent to the image actually seen through a spectacle lens is outputted and the positional relation with a spectacle frame is simultaneously outputted in the image. At the outer side of the spectacle frame, the image may be cut or an image may be the image continued to that being in the inside of the spectacle frame, however, when a more realistic visual field experience is to be performed, it is favorable to output the visual field image calculated in a state in which there is no lens.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
