PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit unitary printing data without managing set contents of individual printers at a side of a server when the printing data are distributed from a server to be an origin of data distribution for many printers. ;SOLUTION: Sheets of paper required for printing are stored in corresponding paper feeding trays 57, 58, the relation between the paper feeding trays and stored types of paper is stored in a paper type storage part 54 and a preset paper selecting rule is simultaneously stored in a paper selecting rule storage part 53. And the printing data from the server are analyzed at a printing data analyzing part 52, the resolution is obtained, the sheet of printing paper is specified based on the paper selecting rule by referring to the paper selecting rule by a printing data processing part 56 and a control signal is transmitted to a paper feeding tray driving part 55. Consequently, the sheet of paper is taken from the specified paper feeding tray 57 (or the paper feeding tray 58) by the paper feeding tray driving part 55 and the printing is executed on the sheet of paper by the printing data processing part 56.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
