PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire resisting liquid being an inorganic reaction product and rich in fire resistance and manufacture thereof, as well as a fire resisting building material which is excellent in fire resistance and also in sound insulation and heat resistance by using this fire resisting liquid, and a fire resisting adhesive excellent in heat resistance. ;SOLUTION: A fire resisting liquid is produced by reacting granular potassium hydroxide, powdery sodium carbonate (soda ash), and metal silicon, with water. A fire resisting building material 3 is molded by laminating the consistent liquid in which bentonite and fibers are mixed in the fire resisting liquid on one surface or both surfaces of a wooden board 1, paper board, metallic board, or synthetic board. A fire resisting building material is molded by bonding an incombustible cotton board to a base board through a mixture that has been produced by adding bentonite and Chinese cotton to the fire resisting liquid. Then, a fire resisting adhesive is produced by adding bentonite, Chinese cotton, and Bengel 31 to the fire resisting liquid, and by mixing and agitating them.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
