METHOD FOR CALCULATING STATICALLY INDETERMINATE FORCE IN STRUCTURAL MATERIAL USING PC CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily, accurately and economically execute structure design of a structural material on which a PC cable is to be arranged and to apply an ideal PC cable arrangement shape to a practical structural material by accurately and mathematically expressed an optional arrangement shape of a PC cable to be examined in a structural design step to attain the calculation of its statically indeterminate force and using a computer resource for the calculation. ;SOLUTION: Plural positional data of a PC 12 cable arranged on a structural material are extracted as node coordinates, a distance between adjacent node coordinates is set up as one section and an interpolation function of a primary function mutually connecting the node coordinates of each section is supposed. The interpolation function is integrated twice in each section, spline functions of a cubic function approximated to the arrangement shape of the PC cable 12 are calculated in each section by using a pair of node coordinates on both the ends of the section as a boundary condition and statically indeterminate force is calculated by using the calculated spline functions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
