PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically generate a sequence program from an operation flow. ;SOLUTION: This method is provided with an activity flag showing whether it is the state of executing the element of the operation flow or not for each element, execution completion flag showing whether that element is executed or not, and hold flag for turning the execution of the element into holding state and generates step processing as the execution processing of the element itself and transition processing for moving the right of execution to the next element as processing corresponding to respective elements. When the activity flag of the element is turned on, the execution completion flag is turned on and the hold flag is turned off, in the transition processing, the activity flag of the next element is turned on and the right of execution is moved to the next element.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
