PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To describe the calculation part of a genetic algorithm evaluation function in an object-oriented, integrated and simple way by calculating the evaluation function for every chromosome via a system to be optimized and by means of an object model that is described in an object-oriented way. SOLUTION: A GA(genetic algorithm) 1 has an internal group of chromosomes of the GA 1, and an evaluation function calculation part 2 performs the normal operations of the GA 1 such as the selection, crossing, mutation, etc. The operation of the GA 1 is applied to the group of chromosomes and the part 2 performs an independent calculation of every chromosome. A schedule 4 arranges the system parameters 3 so as not to cause the mismatching of them, applies the parameters 3 to an object model 5 to be optimized to acquire the result and calculates the evaluation function of the GA 1. The model 5 describes the system to be optimized in an object-oriented way.
