PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting method realizing a building connecting tool suitable for mass production and capable of connecting building square timbers simply and easily, and provide the connecting tool. ;SOLUTION: A connecting female metal 3 having a coupling space 3b opened on the upper face is coupled and fixed in the recess 5 of a horizontal member 1, a connecting male metal 7 having coupling bend sections 7c, 7c' is coupled and fixed in the recess 9 of a connecting member 2, the connecting member 2 is dropped into the coupling space 3b of the horizontal member 1 from the lower ends of the coupling bend sections 7c, 7c', and the connecting member 2 and the horizontal member 1 are connected into a T-shape. Both metals 3, 7 can be formed with a metal sheet by integral molding, the recesses 5, 9 of the horizontal member 1 and the connecting member 2 can be easily molded by a machine tool in mass production, and the horizontal member 1 and the connecting member 2 can be easily connected by the dropping work only.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
