REDUCED SIZE MODEL OF PLATY ROCK PIECE FOR PRODUCTION OF PSEUDROCK STRUCTURAL BODY AND PRODUCTION OF PSEUDROCK STRUCTURAL BODY USING THE SAME AS WELL AS METHOD FOR DESIGNING PSEUDROCK STRUCTURAL BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduced size model of a platy rock piece which allows the easy making of the reduced size model of a pseudrock structural body by providing the model with a shape reduced in size to an approximately resembling shape with respect to the contour shape and rock surface shape of the platy rock piece. ;SOLUTION: Measurement lines are drawn along the rock seams of the rock surface shape of the platy rock piece on the platy rock piece. The platy rock piece is traced by a three- dimensional digitalizer along the contours and measurement lines of the platy rock piece and the three-dimensional shape data indicating the contour shape and rock surface shape of the platy rock piece is measured. The data is reduced and the reduced three-dimensional shape data is stored into the memory of an NC machine tool. A resin block consisting of polyester is fixed to the NC machine tool which in turn machines the resin block in accordance with the reduced three-dimensional shape data stored in the memory. The front surface side is subjected coloring of the same tint as the tint of the platy rock piece. A pair of wires 5 for mounting which are the mounting means for the reduced size model 4 of the piece are mounted on the rear surface side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
