PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain impressed magnetic field intensity highly precisely when a mislanding quantity is zero by eliminating the effect of lighting of a phosphor in other color and finding a light emission amount of a monochromatic phosphor in each color. SOLUTION: A CPU 70 finds an inverse matrix of a color matrix consisting of light receiving signals outputted from light receiving means 6R, 6G, 6B obtained when phosphors R, G, B are individually lighted, colors of the light receiving signals from the light receiving means 6R, 6G, 6B are separated by using the inverse matrix calculate the light emission amount of the phosphors R, G, B. Furthermore, the CPU 70 obtains the intensity of an impressed magnetic field when the mislanding amount is zero by impressing the magnetic field based on the relation between the monochromatic light emission amount in single colors of the phosphors R, G, B and the intensity of the changed impressed magnetic field.
