PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute beam-column joint structural components by using low priced ready-made shape steels or steel plates, at the same time, constrain the circumference of a steel frame column to prevent out-of-plane deformation and to connect the steel frame column and a steel frame beams without using any welding method. ;SOLUTION: Steel frame beams 12 are connected to a steel frame column, the circumference mounting the steel frame beams 12 of the steel frame column 10 thereto is surrounded by bolting a plurality of members 16 machining shape steels or steel plates on each other, and a constrained member 14 is bolted on the steel frame column 10 and, at the same time, the steel frame beams 12 are bolted on the constrained member 14 to connect.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
