PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a koji discharging device and lifting up and down device of an automatic rotary koji producing unit by installing a koji discharging device capable of easily maintaining the maintenance and sanitary properties, and simplifying the lifting up and down device in a koji producing chamber for improving a washing property. ;SOLUTION: This automatic rotary koji producing unit having a koji producing chamber constructed with a wall body 1 having a heat insulating property, installed with a conveying device 6 and a treating device on a rotatable disc in the koji producing chamber, a side board 17 for preventing the falling down of the koji at the outer circumference of the disc and a koji discharging shutter 18 for discharging the koji at a part of the side board 17, is provided by installing a driving motor and an encoder 22 at the outside of the wall body 1 for controlling the opening and closing of the koji discharging shutter 18.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
