VITAMIN B1-ENRICHED NUTRIENT INFUSION MEDICINE PACKED IN TWO CHAMBER CONTAINER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vitamin B₁-enriched nutrient infusion medicine packed in a two chamber container and solving problems comprising the deterioration in the stability of the vitamin B₁, the decrease in the contents of amino acids and the coloration of the medicine by receiving specific compositions in the chambers of the two chamber container, respectively. ;SOLUTION: This infusion medicine is obtained by receiving an infusion containing glucose and vitamin B₁ in prescribed amounts, respectively, in the first chamber of a flexible container divided into the two communicable chambers by a dividing means and also receiving an infusion containing amino acids (fifteen amino acids in addition to L-isoleucine, L-leucine and L-lysine), an electrolyte (sodium chloride, etc.), and a stabilizer (a sulfite salt) in prescribed amounts, respectively, in the second chamber and controlling the pH of the infusion in the first chamber to 3.5-5.0. The infusion medicine is excellent in stability after the first and second infusions are mixed with each on clinical employment, and the infusion medicine has an advantageous point capable of being administered without causing an error operation, the mixing of glass powder, the contamination of various bacteria and the mixing of foreign matters, because the infusions can easily be mixed with each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
