PURPOSE: To enable simple preparation of a precision calibration liquid by a method wherein water is supplied into an inflow port and made to pass through an ion exchange resin mixture and a precision calibration liquid containing a very small amount of target ions is taken out from an outflow port. ;CONSTITUTION: Condensate demineralizer outlet water of a boiler being used in a power station, for instance, it is supplied into an inflow port of a device for preparation. In the course of flowing down through a casing 12, this water comes into contact with a mixture 18 composed of R-H type cation exchange resin and R-O type anion exchange resin. Impurity ions in the water are adsorbed and removed and the water becomes demineralized water not containing the impurity ions practically. While this demineralized water flows down further through the casing 12, the relationship of equilibrium is established in this process between the demineralized water and the cation exchange resin or the anion exchange resin in the casing 12 and, as the result, a precise calibration liquid containing a very small amount of target ions of the concentration computed by a prescribed numerical formula is taken out from an outflow port 16.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
