Ion exchange resin, condensate desalination tower and condensate purification device using this resin

PURPOSE:To reduce the size of the title purifier by controlling the content of divinylbenzene to have a determined value and adopting ion exchange resin having a large ion exchange capacity and exchange rate. CONSTITUTION:Since the cross-linking degree of ion exchange resins 6a, 6b is controlled by the adding amount of divinyl benzene, the ion exchange capacity per unit volume can be raised by increasing the cross-linking degree, and conversely, the difusion velocity and ion exchange rate can be raised by decreasing the cross-linking degree. The containing amount of divinyl benzene is set at ca. 8 weight % in the surface layer 7 and ca. 3 to 7 weight % in the middle part 8. Then, the condensate from a functional hollow yarn film filter 5 is supplied to a desalting tower 2 and impurity ions unremoved are exchanged by the ion exchange resins 6a, 6b. As the surface layer 7 has high cross-linking degree and large exchange capacity and dirt ions reaching the middle part 8 with low cross-linking degree are exchanged at a high defusion rate. Resultantly, the exchange rate of the resin 6a, 6b and exchange capacity as a whole increase.
