PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the multiplication method of a multiple digits integer and a single digit integer, by which the multiple digits integer and the single digit integer can be multiplied at high speed on a computer having a pipeline mechanism for a functional unit. ;SOLUTION: In a step S (0), it is checked whether the single digit integer is the divisor of the base of the digit or not. When the single digit integer is the divisor of the base of the digit, the respective digits of the multiple digits integer and the single digit integer are multiplied in parallel in steps S(1)-S(m+1). Thus, the multiple digits integer and the single digit integer can be multiplied on the computer having the pipeline mechanism in the functional unit. Thus, a carry number from the former digit is obtained by dividing a result obtained by multiplying the former digit of the multiple digits integer by the single digit integer by the base of the digit.
