PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct guiding without any trouble even if a vehicle side superconductive coil is in a quenching condition, by disposing a pair of normal conductive coils on the ground side so as to independent put the vehicle side superconductive coil between them respectively at the right and left of the vehicle. ;SOLUTION: On-vehicle coils 21 are disposed respectively at the wing-shaped parts 20a on the right and left of a vehicle. The winding of the respective on-vehicle coils 21 is formed into a loop of rough '8' shape out of superconductive material including an alloy series superconductor, such as Nb-Ti, Nb3Sn, a ceramic high-temperature superconductor or the like. On the right and left sides of the vehicle, a bottom ground coil 11 and a top ground coil 12 are disposed at the upper surface 10b of a beam-shaped member 10 and the lower surface of an overhung part 10a respectively so as to form a pair with an on-vehicle coil 21 put between them. The winding of the bottom ground coil 11 and the top ground coil 12 constitute a normal conductive coil using normal conductive material, such as copper, and forms a loop of rough '8' shape. It is thus possible to conduct guiding without any trouble even if the vehicle side superconductive coil is in a quenching condition.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
