METHOD FOR REGISTERING BULLETIN BOARD AND METHOD FOR REGISTERING/TRANSFERING BULLETIN BOARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register information related to a bulletin board function by simple operaton by registering original image information transferred from a facsimile equipment (FAX) correspondingly to index information included in bulletin board information transferred from the FAX. SOLUTION: An electronic mail(E mail) management part 46 in a server device 3 monitors the arrival of an E mail through a LAN communication control part 48. When an E mail terminates, the management part 46 checks the header part of the terminated E mail and judges whether the E mail is related to bulletin board registration including index information or not. When the E mail corresponds to the condition, the E mail is transferred to a bulletin board master control part 47 through a system bus and original image information and index information are extracted from the contents of the E mail. The extracted original image information is stored in a hard disk device 44 as a file correspondingly to the extracted index information.
