PURPOSE:To obtain an underfloor freezing refrigerator which can avoid a danger such as pinched fingers, etc., and can keep a floor clean by providing a cover chamfered at the entire soft molded periphery on the upper surface of a box, and a cover plate engaged with a floor opening. CONSTITUTION:A rectangular cover 13 of a box 14 of an underfloor freezing refrigerator is formed of a sash 15, an inner plate 16, and an outer plate 17, and a heat insulator 18 is filled between both the plates. A cover plate 11 covering a floor opening has engaging fittings 12 at one side and a retractable handle 26 at the other. When the cover plate 11 is opened, it can be effectively erected by the fittings 12. Accordingly, the cover plate 11 is opened by holding a grip 24 of the cover 13, and suspended. Since the plate 13 has a soft molded part 25 of a slip preventive member, its slip can be effectively prevented by a frictional resistance with a frame edge 22. Accordingly, there is no danger of pinched fingers on closing the slide door. Since it is suspended to the self- erecting type cover plate, the cover plate is not placed on the upper surface of a floor material, and drop of dew on the upper surface of the floor material is eliminated.
