PURPOSE:To measure a bromine adsorption quantity of a positive electrode active layer in a zinc-bromine battery and obtain an efficient production condition for electrodes of a battery. CONSTITUTION:50-100ml of an aqueous solution composed of 1.0-1.5mol/ l of ZnBr2 and 1.0mol/l of a bromic complex, a carbon plastic electrode with an active layer of a square bar of 2cmX2cm, a first concussion process for putting 3-5ml of bromine in a same flask and performing concussion of them with the use of a shaking machine for 50 hours, a second concussion process for performing the concussion of the electrode in 100ml of pure water for 1-2 minutes after process execution and a third concussion process for performing the concussion of the electrode in 20-50ml of ZnBr2 aqueous solution of 3-6mol/l after process execution are prepared. After third concussion process execution the iodostarch reaction of the electrode is examined with the use of a sodium thiosulfate aqueous solution to perform chemical titration.
