PURPOSE:To simultaneously execute two-way communication for interconnection through a satellite by mixing received communication carriers from the transmitting side and the receiving side of a picture signal as keeping a prescribed level difference, and trasnsmitting the mixed communication carrier toward, at least, the transmitting side and the receiving side of the picture signal. CONSTITUTION:A demodulated OW carrier in the antenna input of a picture signal transmitting station is sent intermittently only during the first half of a horizontal scanning period, and on the other hand, the demodulated OW carrier in the antenna input of a picture signal receiving station is sent continuously by an OW carrier level about 10 db lower than the OW carrier level at the picture signal transmitting station. The receiving part of a broadcasting satellite 17 mixes both as keeping the prescribed OW carrier level difference of about 10 db, and returns the mixed carrier to both the transmitting and the receiving ground stations by carrying it on the microwave of the outgoing circuit of 12 GHz, for instance, by superposing it on a picture signal transmission band through TWT amplifier similarly to at outgoing the picture signal transmitting station.
