PURPOSE: To lessen the damage of netlike members owing to fatigue, and to improve the effect of damping bottom-flow, by a method wherein the netlike members fastened on the bottom of the sea, in the condition that they protrude from the bottom surface of the sea, are located so as to intersect with the direction of the bottom-flow. ;CONSTITUTION: A number of block bodies 11 for controlling drift sand are sunk lengthwise and crosswise on the bottom of the sea. At this time, netlike members 12, each of which is part of the block body 11, are set so as not to drift in the sea. That is, the netlike member 12 is fastened on the bottom of the sea with a bottom board block 13, so as to protrude from the bottom of the sea in the shape of a netlike cage. In the case where stainless wire netting is used as the netlike member 12, for example, the lower part thereof is buried in the bottom board block 13 and the stainless wire netting is stood. A number of the block bodies 11 are located so as to intersect with the direction of bottom-flow passing the vicinity of the bottom of the sea.
