PURPOSE: To provide a false bait made of KONNYAKU (devil's tongue) which can keep its shape on the hook without tearing into pieces, being separated thereof from the hook and scattering when it is put on the hook and cast on the water surface by swinging the rod. ;CONSTITUTION: This false bait is made of glucomannan of KONNYAKU and a vegetable glue and has the shape resembling to living bait. It is produced by mixing the glucomannan, vegetable glue and water under stirring, gelatinized with an edible alkalire agent and the gel is molded into the shape of living bait and allowed to leave water by refrigeration to form into its semi-dried state.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
