PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of the manufacture by making it possible to manufacture a wire for a plurality of strain spans continuously without cutting it for each strain span and to reduce a transportation cost by lessening the number of drums using coupled drums, in manufacturing an electric wire for a prefabricated trolley wire. ;SOLUTION: Precise measured marks 7A, 7B, 7C are stamped at near both ends and the midpoint on a continuous electric wire 6 to be stringed in a plurality of strain spans. Coupled drums are used; a plurality of drums 1A, 1B are coupled in such a manner that they can be detached and an extra-length storing part 16 is provided at the coupled part. The electric wire 6 above is wound onto the coupled drums so that an electric wire for a strain span corresponds to a drum and the wire around the precise measured mark 7B at the midpoint is stored with an extra slacking length in the extra-length storing part 16.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
