This method involves covering the entire surface of the cell with a broken foam layer (e.g., polymer foam, metal foam, glass foam or glass foam). The broken foam is irregular, its particle size is inconsistent, and it is inert for electrolysis operation. The desired foam layer is about 3 to 4 inches (76-102 mm). At present, the specific dehydration examples that benefit from it include anode operation, electroplating, electrolysis and electrolysis.
