FLY ASH DEPOSIT, PROCESS OF ITS PRODUCTION AND ITS USE FOR MAINTENANCE AND RECLAMATION OF SETTLING PONDS

In the present invention, there is disclosed a fly ash deposit intended for maintenance and reclamation of settling basins, whereby the deposit based on power plant, optionally heating plant fly ash and water consists of a homogenized mixture of fly ash in the amount of 50 to 70 percent by weight and water in the amount of 25 to 50 percent by weight. The fly ash contains at least 50 percent by weight of a dusty component with grain size less than 0.06 mm. Preparation of the invented fly ash deposit is characterized by mixing and homogenizing the fly ash with water within a high speed mixer being provided with a rotary vessel and two counter-rotating bladed rotary vortex generators, for a period of at least 60 seconds. The obtained fly ash deposit can be used for the maintenance and reclamation of settling basins, preferably that ones of the uranium ore treatment plants so that the fly ash deposit is added in the settling basin polluted wastewater in the ratio 1 : 1 to 1.5.
