An improved durable and flexible catheter (II) orcentral lumen having good resiliency characteristics and a lowkink radius. The catheter or central lumen is an elongatedmember having an inner layer (22) of a soft elastomericmaterial and an outer layer (21) of a hard plastic material and isformed by forming the outer layer onto the inner layer bycoextrusion.
