Switching system for EAX-including integrated first/third-stage witch

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a system stop even if a secondary switch or a central control unit controlling it stops by storing an origination-side and a termination- side subscriber circuits in a primary/tertiary switch wherein a primary and a tertiary switches are integrated and setting a speech path between the origination-side and termination-side subscriber circuits through one operation of the switch. SOLUTION: When origination-side and termination-side subscriber terminals are stored in the same primary/tertiary switch 31, a channel signal from a subscriber terminal 11 is inputted to an input channel 61 of the primary/tertiary switch 31 through a subscriber circuit 21. A terminating terminal 12, on the other hand, is connected to a subscriber circuit 22 and as for a connection with the subscriber terminal 12, the central control unit 41 for connecting to the output channel 72 of the switch 31 sets a speech path between input/output channels 61 and 72 to connect the subscriber terminals 11 and 12. Consequently, the origination side and termination side are connected by the switch 31 without passing through a secondary switch 51, so that the system never stops as a whole in case of a failure.
