FIELD: toxic substances disposal. SUBSTANCE: composition of organoarsenic substances containing irritant 10-chloro-5,10-dihydrophenarsine (admsite) is reduced with formic acid in tightly closed metal container at molar ratio 1:6 and temperature 135-145 C for 4 hr. Resulting precipitate of arsenic metal is filtered and washed with solvent. Filtrate is distilled to remove formic acid and solvent, whereupon diphenylamine is distilled in vacuo.
