FIELD: organic chemistry, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: invention describes new derivatives of (1-phenyl-1-heterocyclyl)alkane of the general formula (I) where: X - oxygen or sulfur atom; R1 - one or two groups taken among H, lower alkoxy-group or CF3; R2 - H or lower alkyl; R3 - H or lower alkyl and or where W is O or NH; R3 - H; R4 - lower alkyl or lower perfluoroalkyl; R5 and R6 means independently H, or their geometrical or optical isomers or racemates if these isomers exist, or their pharmaceutically acceptable acid salts or solvates. New compounds show therapeutic effectiveness. Invention describes also a method of synthesis of compounds of the formula (I) and a pharmaceutical preparation on the base of the above indicated compounds and showing neuroprotective effect in brain ischemia and a method of treatment of patients with hypoxic and asphyxic brain damages using compounds of the formula (I) .
