The system has a sequence of mirrors according to the direction in which the light falls: a main mirror (1), a dispersion mirror (2) and a tertiary mirror (3). The light is reflected from the main mirror to the dispersion mirror which reflects the light to the tertiary mirror which again reflects onto the dispersion mirror. The light then passes through a hole (4)in the tertiary and main mirror into the focal plane. The main and tertiary mirrors are elliptically flattened. The outer part (2a) of the dispersion mirror on which the light falls produced by reflection on the main mirror is hyperbolically enlarged. The inner part (2b) of the dispersion mirror on which the light falls produced by reflection on the tertiary mirror is elliptically enlarged or spherically formed.
