Monitoring method for concentrations of gas outside of fumigation chambers

Measuring leads or sensors for the fumigation means are positioned outside of the treatment chamber (1) so that the concentrations of the fumigation means can be detected by a measuring device (7) and when predetermined limits are exceeded an alarm is sounded. The measured gas concentration values can be transferred by a measuring device or data logger to a control unit which triggers the acoustic, optical or electric alarm and/or sets an emissions reduction process in operation.
