Series type hybrid vehicle with emergency drive

The vehicle includes an emergency drive indication arrangement (20), and a power transmission mechanism (11) which transfers the output power of a combustion engine (1) directly on the drive system only if an instruction is provided by the emergency drive indication arrangement. The vehicle includes a generator (3) which is driven by a combustion engine (1), a battery (4) charged by the generator, an electric motor (5) driven through the generator and the battery, and a drive system for transmitting an output power of the motor to the wheels. The vehicle also includes an emergency drive indication arrangement (20), and a power transmission mechanism (11) which transfers the output power of the combustion engine directly on the drive system only if an instruction is provided by the emergency drive indication arrangement.
