PURPOSE: To provide a light accumulator capable of being excited within a short time, having afterglow properties holding high brightness over a long time and capable of sharply and three-dimensionally drawing luminescent patterns. ;CONSTITUTION: A light accumulator 10 is constituted by successively laminating a first transparnet resin layer 2, a light accumulating layer 3 and a second transparent resin layer 4 on a base material layer 1 of which the surface has reflectivity and the light accumulating layer 3 is coated with the first and second transparent resin layers 2, 4 in a hermetically sealed state. The second transparent resin layer 4 is laminated so that the part coating the light accumulating layer 3 protrudes from the surface of the light accumulator, that is, a projection 6 is formed at the part corresponding to the light accumulating layer of a lower layer and a surface layer (printing layer) 5 is printed or applied to the surface part other than the projection 6, that is, the surface of the part where the light accumulating layer 3 is not present.
